Afternoon drive host Otis from the ‘O-Show’ on Kiss 95.1 is living on the streets at the Epicenter Uptown all week to increase awareness of the problems of hunger and homelessness in the Charlotte area. Partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and the Kappa Kappa Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at UNCC, the goal is to aid in the fight against poverty.
Through this Friday November 6 at 7pm, representatives from the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Pike Fraternity along with Otis will be onsite to receive food and monetary donations. Partnering with the Pikes and their “Pike Reality Strike” campaign, Otis will be asking for canned goods or a donation of $10 which provides 60 pounds of food and 40 meals for a needy family.
